You need to verify your identity in order to use Wollit. This policy is in line with regulations commonly known as 'Know Your Customer’ (KYC) or 'Customer Due Diligence' (CDD).

If our systems are unable to confirm your identity automatically when processing your application we may ask you to provide additional information manually.

If we require additional information, we will send you a request via email.

We will ask you to reply to our email with the following:

  • A selfie of you holding a valid Passport or Driving License.

  • A photo of a paper bill.

  • If you have moved house in the past 6 months, confirmation of your previous address.

How to take a selfie with your ID:

  • Take the photo in a room with enough light.

  • Hold up the document next to your face.

  • Please ensure that both your face and ID are clear - nothing on the ID can be covered or censored.

How to take a photo of a paper bill:

  • Take the photo in a room with enough light.

  • Please ensure that the entire bill is visible and that nothing is covered or censored
